Jack Beauregard
Founder & CEO
A nationally recognized expert in transition planning, Jack's strategic planning steps, proprietary principles and decision making techniques have been helping people experience lives filled with meaning and purpose for over 20 years.
In 1983, Jack founded Designer Orthopedics, the first cost-containment company in the US which he built into a multi-million dollar company. During a personal crisis, Jack decided to transition out of that company and subsequently founded InnerVisions Associates in 1988. InnerVisions originally focused on integrating the human and cultural issues in mergers-and-acquisitions. Associates of InnerVisions were involved in the integration of 140 mergers.
While helping executives of merged companies and owners who sold their businesses determine what they wanted to do after they left their companies, the "what next" question started to get traction. Jack expanded the application, redeveloped the programs, and Successful Transition Planning Institute took flight.
Jack has presented his unique approach on many radio and television programs, including National Public Radio and the Voice of America worldwide business program. He has also been a keynote speaker at conferences, seminars and workshops.
Jack's personal story of leaving the world of perfectionism to discover who he really is - the key to knowing what one really wants to do in life - is told in his book The Power of Balance: Seven Principles for Transforming Mind, Spirit, and Self. He is currently working on a new book that will revolutionize retirement and become the "Bible" for baby boomers and future generations.
Jack is an alumnus of Harvard University and holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Paul Cronin
Director of Business Development
With over 25 years of sales, management, consulting and entrepreneurship, Paul Cronin brings a broad spectrum of professional experience to the Institute.
His background includes being part of the team that grew Eden Toys, a small NY-based toy manufacturer, into $90 million dollar company. Over a 17 year span, he grew from trainee, to leading a telemarketing team, rep groups and senior sales representatives serving thousands of major US retailers including Carlton Cards, Borders Books and Music, Federated Department Stores, Talbot's, Nordstrom and TJX Corp.
Paul has been twice-bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. In 2001, he built and launched his first start-up, InfoStore Inc. - a company focused on aggregating point-of-sale data and developed market information. The company's lifespan was cut short as a result of the post-9/11 fund-raising drought. Then, from 2004 to 2008, Paul acted as an investor, advisor and regional franchisor with Parmasters Golf Training Centers. He sold his stake in 2008 to focus on new opportunities.
Since 2000, Paul has operated PFC Resources, a business acceleration consulting company focused on helping business owners expand new markets. Projects have included working with a leading toy manufacturer to penetrate the electronic learning aid market at Amazon, Costco, Kohls, and Hammacher-Schlemmer. Paul has also worked with manufacturers and educational software vendors to create new revenue streams and has developed lead generation programs for publishers, including sales training and analysis tools.
Paul presented at the MIT Enterprise Forum as well as Northeastern University on issues of entrepreneurship, running a successful business and business networking. He is an avid golfer, and enjoys spending summers with his family on Cape Cod.
